Private Sessions

I know at times we just get stuck.  It is impossible to have complete perspective about ourselves. We all make the best choice with the options we see at the time.  No one ever got up in the morning and said to themselves, "I am going to make lousy choices all day today." There is a positive intent to all of our behavior, even negative behavior.  For example, few people would say that smoking is a smart behavior.  It costs a person money, health, and life. People smoke because there is a positive intent to the behavior. Smoking is a vehicle to a preferred way of feeling.  If we are taught a healthy way of attaining the good feelings we want, we are free to make new behaviors and the need for unwanted behaviors is gone.  We do what we believe to be in our best interest.

I appreciate the privilege of working with individuals helping them find the positive intent of their unwanted behavior.  I offer personal private coaching.    Learn what the positive intent of the behavior is and then learn to satisfy it in a overall healthier manner.  This new learning frees one up to make choices rather than being compelled to have to do or be a certain way. These are all communication issues.

I do not use hypnosis and don't believe it takes years of "talk therapy" to accomplish what you want.

What A Counselor Must Possess

To be truly effective a personal coach must be a person that others can trust, someone who believes in them.  The coach must be comfortable working in all logical levels of development. If congruence with the logical levels is not fully considered the changes that are intended will not last, the end result is frustration and a feeling of defeat.  The coach’s depth of insight and ability to gain and maintain rapport will have an effect on how far reach reaching the changes can be.

I do not use hypnosis and personally have found that too many people have wasted years of their life in "talk therapy" never really achieving the changes they desire.  We have to pick where we want to go not waste time, energy, and money  searching aimlessly where we have been.   I have found that whatever from the past that may be preventing you from going where you want in the your present and future will very quickly come to the for to be addressed. It is essential to respect people and their processes. You are not a patient, rather you are a person who has gotten stuck in an area of your life.
